bernard1Since 1990, Chef and owner Bernard Durand’s success has been largely due to his relationship with his clients. While maintaining the freedom to be creative and innovative, he works with his clients to develop a concept. Bernard cooks with passion and energy, striving to provide excellent food with courteous and prompt service – a home-cooked meal with an extra flare in the presentation.  The delicious display of each course makes the meal as pleasing to the eye as it is enjoyable to the palette.

From business luncheons to special occasions, we produce a fusion of tantalizing flavours inspired by the latest Asian and European cooking styles.

Our products are all prepared fresh daily on the premises.  The dishes created in our kitchen reflect a commitment to originality, freshness and the celebration of taste.  We strive to meet your unique needs in offering a menu and service style philo2that will best compliment your event.  We provide you with china, glassware, place settings, skirted tables, party equipment rentals, waiters and bartenders.

We proudly serve our clients in both official languages.

Due to our concern for the environment, and in keeping with our high standard of service, we do not use disposable plates, cutlery or serviettes.  The Foodery presents its food on an eclectic collection of service platters, bold wicker baskets, wooden planks and even mirrors.  Linen napkins are always included, even for the simplest sandwich lunch.

When Bernard Durand looks for service personally, he expects it to be prompt and courteous.  His commitment to all of his customers is this same prompt and courteous service along with the outstanding food, all at a reasonable price.

Most of The Foodery’s regular customers no longer request a specific menu.  They trust the Owner/Chef’s judgment to select food appropriate for their functions and they look forward to the surprise they will receive at their next business or social function.
